How to play Canfield Solitaire

Canfield takes its name from Richard Canfield, who ran a gambling house in the 1890s. The story goes that he sold players a deck and paid them back for every card they got home. It is a game of patience with a twist: the foundations do not start at the Ace, and a stubborn reserve pile sits beside the table. Every deal here has been played through by the computer first, so each one can be won.
